In 2024, Paris intramuros recorded about 38.6 million hotel nights (Insee). Furnished tourist lets sit alongside that offer. OFETARO works in that trade.

Outside a primary residence, a furnished tourist let in Paris is operated with the required authorisations. OFETARO only markets authorised, star-rated flats.
The framework includes a change of use, with compensation, and a change of planning destination to hotel-type accommodation where required, then a 13-character registration number, visitor tax, and the official star classification.
